The Alliance for Rights and Recovery is pleased to share an upcoming Mental Health Empowerment Project (MHEP) webinar presented by Disability Rights ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ (DRNY) focused on developing strong accommodation requests for people with mental health challenges.
This important training will feature attorneys from DRNY discussing strategies for requesting accommodations, understanding your rights, and advocating effectively in a variety of settings. Accommodations can play a critical role in helping people access employment, education, housing, services, and community life while supporting recovery and wellbeing.
The webinar will take place on June 10th from 10:00am–11:30am and is a great opportunity for peers, advocates, providers, and community members to learn more about disability rights and practical self-advocacy tools.
We encourage people to attend and help spread the word.
