The Alliance for Rights and Recovery invites our community to join this important conversation with the Correctional Association of ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ (CANY), an independent organization with legislative authority to monitor state prisons. Through their regular facility visits and direct communication with incarcerated individuals, CANY offers a unique and often unseen perspective on the realities inside ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿â€™s correctional system. The Alliance for Rights and Recovery invites you to engage CANY in a candid discussion about their monitoring activities—with a review of their observations, reports, and recommendations. This webinar will also provide insight into the lived conditions of people in prisons and the challenges faced by those working there. As an independent non-profit organization with legislative authority to monitor and provide oversight to ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ State prisons, CANY communicates with the incarcerated population and regularly visits the various facilities.
