The Planning Committee for the NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists, sponsored by the ���������� State Office of Mental Health and the ���������� City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, is currently accepting workshop proposals for the 20^th Annual NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists. This year’s theme, “Celebrating our Score: 20 Years of Peer Specialist Professional Development in ���������� City” commemorates an important milestone and recognizes numerous accomplishments. This conference is for Peer Specialists looking to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities that build on core values of peer support. The event offers opportunities to engage in critical dialogue on career choices, innovative programming, policy, supervision, wellness, and the arts.  

Proposals must meet the following criteria to be considered for a 75-minute workshop session: 

• Demonstrate how the proposed content relates to the conference theme 
• Describe three 
• Integrate one  (pp. 3-15) and one 
• Explain how the content can be applied in practical terms in the peer specialist role
• Submit your proposal here
• Include a current one-page resume that reflects relevant experience

Proposals must be submitted  no later than Friday, February 13, 2026. Incomplete proposals will be returned and cause a delay in the review process.   Any questions can be directed to Eileen Crosby at eileenc@rightsandrecovery.org.
