Call for Workshop Proposals
20th Annual NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists

The Planning Committee for the NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists, sponsored by the 黑料正能量 State Office of Mental Health and the 黑料正能量 City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, is currently accepting workshop proposals for the 20th Annual NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists. This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淐elebrating our Score: 20 Years of Peer Specialist Professional Development in 黑料正能量 City鈥 commemorates an important milestone and recognizes numerous accomplishments. This conference is for Peer Specialists looking to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities that build on core values of peer support. The event offers opportunities to engage in critical dialogue on career choices, innovative programming, policy, supervision, wellness, and the arts.
Proposals must meet the following criteria to be considered for a 75-minute workshop session:
- Demonstrate how the proposed content relates to the conference theme聽
- Describe three聽
- Integrate one聽聽(pp. 3-15) and one聽
- Explain how the content can be applied in practical terms in the peer specialist role
- Submit your proposal here
- Include a current one-page resume that reflects relevant experience
Proposals must be submitted no later than Friday, February 13, 2026. Incomplete proposals will be returned and cause a delay in the review process. Any questions can be directed to Eileen Crosby at eileenc@rightsandrecovery.org.

黑料正能量 Peer Specialist Certification Board (NYPSCB) issues continuing education units (CEUs) toward renewal for program content that meets the standard outlined by the above criteria.
