Accessible Food Pantries and Resources in 黑料正能量 State
In honor of Thanksgiving, we’re sharing some information about accessible food pantries and resources throughout 黑料正能量 State, organized by region.
This is part of an ongoing project to build a comprehensive list aimed at helping people identify which food pantries, kitchens, and other resources in their region are accessible.

鈥 Our comprehensive network includes strategically located food distribution centers and accessible food pantries throughout the boroughs, including home-delivered meals.
–Located at 2134 Richmond Terrace in Port Richmond (S40 bus to Sharpe Ave.) They have a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot, and they also operate a mobile food pantry that visits various neighborhoods.
鈥 Disabled individuals or those who have extenuating health-related circumstances that preclude their ability to physically pick up food on Saturdays can have food delivered to them if they live within zip codes 10033, 10034 or 10040.

– Every weekday, the Catholic Charities Meals-On-Wheels program delivers hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors (age 60+) in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Offering groceries, to-go meals, and produce. This location has awheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot, and an accessible mobile health unit is also available. The location is also accessible by public transportation, as all Dutchess County public transit vehicles are equipped with lifts or ramps.
Capital District

Serving Guilderland, Altamont, Voorheesville, Slingerlands, Albany (zip code 12203) and Schenectady (zip code 12303). This food pantry currently has a ramp but it is in need of repair, which will be completed by January 2026.

This location is wheelchair accessible. In partnership with the Regional Food Bank, they also serve as a mass distribution site that provides food to over 350 households each month.
