February 24, 2025 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

Alliance Alert: Our Alliance for Rights and Recovery is very pleased to announce some details of this year’s Executive Seminar program, entitled “Urgent Actions, Bold Solutions: Leadership in Unprecedented Times,” to be held April 24-25 at the Albany Marriott Hotel.

Our program will feature prominent national provider, disability rights and recovery leaders the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Chuck Ingoglia, the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law’s Jennifer Mathis and Mental Health America’s Caren Howard discussing how we might best respond to the very rapid, ever-changing and uncertain national policy landscape. It will feature a State and City based panel looking at both the impact of federal changes and the 2025 enacted state budget that will feature OMH’s Moira Tashjian, Medicaid Matters’ Lara Kassel, InUnity Alliance’s Jihoon Kim, NY Lawyers for the Public Interest’s Ruth Lowenkron and more.

The program will also include a Thursday late afternoon award ceremony honoring the extraordinary efforts of Emil Slane, former Chief Fiscal Officer, NYS Office of Mental Health and Patrick Wildes, former Assistant Secretary for Human Services and Mental Hygiene

We’ll be sharing details on Monday and throughout the coming weeks.
In the meantime, don’t delay, register today!
