The Alliance for Rights and Recovery is thrilled to introduce David Woods Bartley, a two-time TED talk presenter, as the keynote speaker for this year’s Recovery & Rehabilitation Academy. David’s journey from the isolation of mental “hellness” to the inclusive realm of mental wellness has been made possible by the support of numerous individuals and his dedication to self-care. Having experienced the life-changing impact of this journey, David is passionately committed to reshaping the conversation surrounding suicide, male sexual trauma, and mental illness. He aims to shift these topics from the shadows of silence to the forefront of public awareness. His mission is to illuminate the pressing crisis we currently confront and create opportunities for improved mental health, accessible to everyone, everywhere.
