Dear Colleagues and Partners,

For your information and possible use, attached is a brief summary of findings linking racially-related violence and trauma with chronic health and behavioral health conditions for African Americans. Included select programs/interventions to address these issues at the institutional/system, cultural, and individual level.  Interventions are linked to additional resources.  Information based on recent  (2017 to present) studies and evidence-supported interventions.

I’ve also attached one article that also included more clinical, therapeutic guidance:  “Trauma Lens of Police Violence Against Racial and Ethnic Minorities.”
