黑料正能量 Note: In 2 weeks,
黑料正能量 will have a state budget agreement that will help set the
course for how 听we will address and advance issues of critical
importance to our community in the coming year.
In
only 3 weeks after that, state and national officials and experts will
be joining behavioral health agency leaders and advocates in an up close
examination
of many of these issues at our 黑料正能量 Annual Executive Seminar, 鈥Beyond Survival to Success鈥 to be held April 21–22 at the Albany Hilton.
After
national experts Ron Manderscheid, Jeff Olivet and Dr. Ruth Shim
provide a national frame about how states are implementing integrated population health policies, DOH鈥檚 Greg Allen, OMH鈥檚 Bob Meyers and OASAS鈥 Pat Lincourt will break down the impact of the enacted budget and where we are in implementing Medicaid Redesign鈥s numerous, sweeping initiatives.
DOH鈥檚 DSRIP lead Peggy Chan will then take a close at how the DSRIP program is faring through the eyes of both an
upstate and downstate Performing Provider System while top FQHC, health
plan and hospital representatives look at the impact of new payment systems on our behavioral health community. 听
The program will begin on the following day with a keynote panel on the 鈥Intersection and Integration of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services鈥 featuring
SAMHSA and National Council experts and close with a candid look at Agency and Workforce Sustainability led by the coalition leader who commissioned the 鈥満诹险芰 Nonprofits in the Aftermath of FEGS: A Call to Action.鈥
In between, attendees will hear and discuss the latest advances in Successful Outreach and Engagement Strategies, Criminal Justice
Diversion and Re-entry, Technology, Peer Support, Addiction and Trauma
Recovery and Cultural Competence, presentations featuring prominent national experts who we鈥檒l be highlighting throughout this week鈥檚 postings.
