ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ Note: MCTAC will offer the webinar advertised below that is particularly beneficial for HCBS provider new to Medicaid. Learn about this concrete, essential step toward becoming a Medicaid-billing provider.

Attention: All HCBS providersÌý

Agencies that will be providing HCBS services and that do not currently bill Medicaid are strongly encouraged to have a representative attend this training.Ìý

Please join MCTAC for our upcoming onÌýApril 29th from 2-3pm, presented by Boris Vilgorin of the NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research. This webinar will focus on assisting providers in applying for their NPI number in order to bill Managed Care Organizations.

This web-based training is particularly important for HCBS providers, although all providers are welcome to join.ÌýHCBS providers must have either an NPI or MMIS number in order to bill for HARP services.ÌýÌýAll HCBS providers are eligible for an NPI number, under the “other community behavioral health” category.Ìý Getting an NPI number is the first step in preparing to to bill managed care plans.Ìý

This webinar will guide agencies through the application process for an NPI number, as well as provide a general overview of its significance and utility. Please join Boris Vilgorin and the MCTAC team on April 29th from 2-3pm to learn more about applying for an NPI number, a key step in the preparation for the upcoming transition to Medicaid managed care.Ìý
