As they state on their website: 鈥Mad in America鈥檚 International Film Festival听will showcase short and feature-length films from around the world that explore the history of psychiatry. The festival is designed to encourage us to think anew about the nature of 鈥渕ental illness鈥 and our societal forms of treatment. A March Update on MIA鈥檚 International Film Festival

Since听, things have been picking up behind the scenes at Mad in America鈥檚 International Film Festival. 听Submissions are coming in through , and we are exploring some exciting possibilities鈥 including a live performance or two鈥 for our four-day event. 听We have confirmed Festival participants from Canada, Iceland, Sweden, and England, as well as from across the United States, and the list continues to grow.
We are encouraging people to book travel and lodging as early as possible, given that the fall is a busy time in New England (the beautiful colors of changing leaves will bring many to the Boston area come October!) 听We have listed helpful information on hotels and travel under 鈥楢ttend鈥 on the menu bar. 听Information on tickets will be coming soon through the听.
