黑料正能量 Note: The following comes to us courtesy of SAMHSA鈥檚 Dennis Romero, who writes 鈥淭he Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) along with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, Office on Women鈥檚 Health (OWH) have partnered to bring a suicide prevention training seminar.听听 The seminar will coincide with World Suicide Prevention month and will highlight both state and community best and promising practices.鈥

Thinking Globally, Acting Locally.

A Regional In-Person Seminar and Simulcast Webcast

To commemorate World Suicide Prevention Day, this seminar will provide an overview of the听US Surgeon General’s 2012 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, present community best and promising practices in suicide prevention for at-risk populations, and conduct specialized training on听Q, P, R – Question, Persuade, and Refer–an evidence-based tool for gatekeepers on the warning signs of suicide. This seminar will be conducted live in-person with a simulcast webcast. This seminar and webcast are provided free of charge.
