黑料正能量 Note: 黑料正能量 is very pleased to present this year鈥檚 program schedule for our Annual Conference to be held this September 10-12 at the Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, NY.
Long acclaimed as one of the finest and most timely recovery conferences in the nation, this year鈥檚 program is entitled 鈥楰eeping the Focus on Recovery and Rights鈥 and brings together an extraordinary group of some of the nation鈥檚 and state鈥檚 greatest leaders and innovators to demonstrate how to anchor the sweeping changes our systems are undergoing in our core principles and values.
This year鈥檚 program features a powerful line up of 4 keynote sessions that will feature a 鈥楥onversation with the Mothers of our Movement鈥 Pat Deegan, Sally Zinman, Gayle Bluebird and Jacki McKinney as well as presentations by some of the nation鈥檚 most respected change agents Vivian Jackson, Larry Fricks and Larry Davidson.
It also offers featured plenary speakers Pat Deegan, Eduardo Vega and Joe Powell and 74 information and inspiration packed workshop sessions that will offer the latest information and innovations in the following areas: Health, Healing and Recovery, Empowerment and Advocacy, Cultural Competence, Integrated Behavioral and Physical Healthcare, Administration and Management, Health Homes and Managed Care, Exemplary or Emerging Practices, Community Integration and Peer Services and Supports.
We are also very proud to present 2 outstanding entertainers, Blues Hall of Fame inductee Rhett Tyler and his band Early Warning and Stand Up for Mental Health鈥檚 David Granirer, who鈥檒l be schooling and featuring 6 new comics from our own 黑料正能量 community.
And of course the Conference will continue to feature an array of free healing sessions (acupuncture, shiatsu, reiki, t鈥檃i chi and massage) and our famous outdoor evening barbecue.
Special Note: This year鈥檚 program will run from Tuesday to Thursday rather than our traditional Wednesday to Friday dates to avoid conflicts with the Jewish holidays.
