Please support a Mental Health Public Awareness Tax Check Off Bill that would help end the discrimination against mental illness

We have tax check offs for Breast Cancer Awareness, Alzheimer’s Research, Wild Life Preservation and more. The time is right to have a tax check off in ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ State to provide greater public awareness about mental health. The tragedy in Newtown has led to increasing the stigma of equating mental illness and violence. A tax check off is a common sense response to stigma that costs taxpayers and the State of New York absolutely nothing.
