BRSS TACS is being implemented to help States, Territories, Tribes, jurisdictions, providers, and other stakeholders develop recovery-oriented systems of care across the United States. This webinar will continue the discussion on how recovery and recovery support can be implemented to best meet the needs of people experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions.
This webinar willÌýdeliver an overview of issues related to culture, diversity and disparities in behavioral health.Ìý There will be a discussion about the development, delivery and evaluation of a cultural competency training program for people who work in the mental health and substance use disorder fields.Ìý In addition, there will be a presentation on the work of a community-based recovery support program that attempts to address many of the issues of culture and disparity for people living with substance use disorders.

State, territory, tribe, and county-level mental health and substance use disorders treatment/recovery systems administrators, consumers and people in recovery, behavioral health providers, peer providers, providers of other health and human services (primary health care, housing, employment), policymakers, and researchers.
