黑料正能量 Note: Once again, the federal Department of Justice has demonstrated its strong commitment to support the ADA and Olmstead related rights of people with disabilities to live and work in the most integrated setting by joining a lawsuit against a state whose response has been deemed inadequate. Several years ago, DOJ did the same here in 黑料正能量 when it joined the suit pressed by Disability Advocates, the Bazelon Center and their partners against our state鈥檚 policy of confining thousands of 黑料正能量ers with psychiatric disabilities in adult homes. 听
Speaking of that effort, this year鈥檚 budget agreement includes $16.8 million 鈥淔or听 services听 and听 expenses associated with the provision of education,听 assessments, training,听听 in-reach,听 care听 coordination, 听supported housing and the services听 needed by听 mentally ill residents of adult homes, which were identified in the 2009听 federal district听 court case Disability Advocates, Inc. v.听 Paterson听 provided,听 however,听 no funds听 from听 this听 appropriation听 shall be
used to pay for the services of a听 monitor appointed by such district court.鈥
