Beckie will discuss tools and strategies to use when talking with healthcare providers about mental health challenges and medication concerns. She talks about how difficult and hard feelings are survivable and that not every bad feeling requires a pill.

Beckie will discuss the principles of informed consent, strategies and tools , different ways to say “No!”, and strategies for dealing with embarrassment when talking to your healthcare provider.
